ABOUT MJ GREENMOUNTAIN

MJ has 35 years of extensive, diverse training, decades of world travel/cultural immersion, and book-worthy challenging / ‘miraculous’ Life Experiences. Born and raised in Nebraska, he moved out to California in his early 20’s. MJ has been a professional musician for most of his life, working closely with several traditional musicians from Africa, India, and the Americas, in the realm of Ceremonial, Spiritual and Healing Music. During the mid-2000’s, he spent a few years as a main musician for a South American Shaman’s healing circles, having been actively involved in traditional Brazilian Ayahuasca healing communities since in 1995. MJ’s became a daily Zen & Tea practitioner in the late 90’s, and has received several sacred transmissions from a variety of Tribal Elders, Masters and formal Teachers. He combines this all with Deep Listening and a deep intuition, to assist with each client’s unique needs for their own healing process. He leads people to discover their own Inner Guidance and has been called a “master”, a “shaman”, and “healer” and so on by many friends and clients. “Serving others on their Life Journey feels like an appropriate way to share the Gifts I’ve been given. My training in Zen & Tea, various Healing music and modalities, have all seemed to align for this single focus of assisting others in their Healing Journey. In Music, I have shifted my focus away from performance and entertainment to do this Healing Work. I can clearly see why and how it is so seriously needed in in the world these days. I’m so grateful to have such a beautiful Nature Sanctuary for clients to immerse themselves in. It all feels Divinely Appointed: the clientele, the Work, the location. Everything. Everyday I wake up in Pure Gratitude,” says MJ.
